9:00am - 12:00pm: Intuition and Art, Finding the Sacred, Collage and Mixed Media with Kat Logan at Combs Studio

This workshop welcomes participants of all artistic abilities and backgrounds, encouraging you to delve into the deeper, spiritual aspects of your creativity. Throughout the session, you'll engage in a variety of artistic processes that foster self-discovery and expression.  As part of the experience, Kat will guide you through a calming meditation to help you connect with your inner self, setting the stage for a beautiful afternoon of sharing, creativity, and inspiration.

1:00pm - 5:00pm: Learn to Draw and Paint BIRDS with Kat Logan at Combs Studio

Join artist/educator Kat Logan for this special afternoon of learning to draw and paint some of our favorite creatures, BIRDS! Whether you are a bird lover, art lover or nature lover, this workshop is for all levels and interests. Kat has been painting and drawing birds for most of her art career and is excited to share her enthusiastic love of them through artwork.

1:00pm - 5:00pm: Needle Felted 2-D Oceanscape with Lyn Slade at Prospect Harbor Methodist Church

Needle felt this painterly ocean-scape using the instructor's tool. It's fun and easier than you think! Some needle felting experience is helpful but not required.

2:00pm - 4:00pm: Beginner Cape Breton Step Dance with Angela Szucs at Hammond Hall

Cape Breton Step Dance is a hard shoe, percussive style of dance. The footwork is very much kept "close to the floor". Students will be introduced to basic strathspey and reel steps and leave with a short routine.
